About Us

Welcome to The Cancer Help Blog, a place to share information, have conversations, and generally learn what is happening in the field of cancer, not just the medical view – and how it applies to you.

As a former cancer patient, I can relate to what is happening in your life, your frustrations, concerns, and the sense of overwhelm. My passion is to help simplify, clarify and give you options to explore.

Every day, I interact with people going through cancer. I have learned so much from them. We have shared many conversations which I will now share with you about what worked, what didn’t work, what they are looking for, what is simple, and generally practical useful information to help guide you through this phase and empower you to create a quality life for yourself.

Please join me. Let’s create a better life together. Let’s put cancer in perspective and share hope, care and compassion for each other.

To share in the conversation, go to our Facebook page (see link below). If you would like to receive our free weekly newsletter from our sister site, the Cancer Help Hub, please fill in your name and email address.  You will also receive the free report – something you will want to read, for sure..

About the Publisher (Barbara Cunnings-Versaevel)

In the fall of 1990, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer.  It was a shock, as heart disease was in our family, not cancer.  I thought I was living a healthy life.   Exercise, eating right, taking vitamins, etc. were all a part of my normal routine.  However, many other facets of my life were out of kilter.  Hence the huge learning curve – a new ‘normal’.

Since that time, I have never had a re-occurrence of my cancer.  And, I have found a passion to help others find their way through this journey because it never really ends.  It is a lifelong learning about what the true meaning of life is all about.  From my learning and the conversations over the years with other cancer journeyers, I’ve gained immeasurable contacts, information, practical tips, product ideas, and so much more that I want to share with you.
